About Flambeau

Flambeau was founded in 2000 by Joe McKearn, who was already importing hand-carved mirrors, together with artist Paul Grüer as chief designer. Their idea was simple: lamps so distinctive you would recognise one the moment you walked into a room. Elstead Lighting began distributing Flambeau in 2012, and the two businesses later joined forces as Lucas + McKearn to design and bring the collection to new markets.

Flambeau’s specialist designers model their own original creations, uniting sophisticated forms with hand-distressed finishes in gold and silver patinas to create what the brand calls ‘21st century antiques’. Many pieces are handmade and hand-decorated, with silver or gold leaf and ornate flourishes. Alongside the artisan pieces sit more tailored designs in aged brass, bronze patina, walnut and polished chrome, with fabric and hessian shades.

Our Flambeau collection is one of the largest we carry. Feature and shaded pendants lead the way, from Pearce and Lucia to the walnut Drawing Room range, with wall lights such as Cooper and shaded flush ceiling lights from Fletcher. You will also find characterful table and floor lamps, IP44 bathroom wall lights and IP44 outdoor lanterns, ceiling lights, bollards and post lights.

Flambeau FAQs

Why does my Flambeau light vary from the photo?

Many Flambeau designs are hand-decorated, with distressed, patinated or leafed finishes applied by hand. Small variations in tone and texture are expected and make each piece individual.

Does Flambeau make outdoor and bathroom lights?

Yes. Alongside its decorative interior pieces, Flambeau offers outdoor wall lanterns, ceiling lights, bollards and post lights, and bathroom wall lights. Check the IP rating on each product page to confirm where it can be used.

Do Flambeau table lamps come with shades?

Most Flambeau table lamps are supplied complete with a shade, often in natural hessian, ivory or white fabric. The product title and description confirm whether a shade is included and its colour.

How quickly will my Flambeau order arrive?

In-stock Flambeau products: 2-3 Weeks Delivery. See our Shipping Policy for delivery times to your area.
