About Kichler

Kichler was founded in 1938 and has grown from a small lighting company into one of the largest names in decorative lighting, held in high regard for the diversity of its designs. Over more than eighty years it has built a reputation for the sheer breadth of its range, covering everything from intimate wall lights to grand multi-arm chandeliers for homes and hospitality spaces.

Kichler’s design team works across a wide spread of styles – classic lantern shapes, transitional shaded pendants and cleaner contemporary forms – so it is easy to light a whole home in one consistent look. Finishes are a real strength, with deep bronzes, weathered zinc, antique pewter, brushed brass and nickel. Its products are wired by its distribution partner for 220–240V markets, so they are ready to install here.

Our Kichler collection is led by outdoor lighting, with IP44 wall lanterns, porch pendants, ceiling lights and post tops from ranges such as Ashland Bay and Halleron. Indoors you will find chandeliers, shaded and cluster pendants, semi-flush ceiling lights, wall lights and IP-rated bathroom wall lights. Many designs come in several sizes and finishes, so you can match lights from hallway to garden.

Kichler FAQs

Are Kichler outdoor lights suitable for exposed walls?

Many Kichler outdoor lanterns, pendants and post lights are rated IP44, which protects against splashing water from any direction. Check the IP rating on each product page, and use a qualified electrician for outdoor installation.

Can I match Kichler indoor and outdoor lights?

Yes, in many cases. Several Kichler ranges, such as Ashland Bay and Halleron, include wall lanterns, ceiling lights, pendants and post lights in the same finish, so a porch, path and garden wall can share one look.

Do Kichler lights include bulbs?

Most Kichler fittings take standard replaceable lamp holders and are supplied without bulbs, while some designs have integrated LED. The lamp cap, wattage and whether the fitting is dimmable are listed on each product page.

How quickly will my Kichler order arrive?
